It arrived ahead of schedule, with all its parts. The wood is sturdy and cut to fine tolerances, and the brilliant design makes it easy to assemble correctly. I like the simple style and find the unfinished wood attractive.
I use it to raise a tatami mat and cotton futon off the floor for air circulation. Before buying the bed, I used to fold up the futon every morning to clear floor space, and this bed also folds easily, but I find Im not doing it so often. But when I do, the bed forms an A/frame over which to hang the futon for airing and fluffing / a surprise bonus.
