OMG - this bed is phenomenal!!! We put it together in 20 minutes and its as solid and beautiful as a much more expensive bed. It puts my former platform bed purchase (fiberboard faux leather) to shame. The slats are real wood (others are plastic), with velcro to keep them tight on side rails.
