I spent hours and hours looking for the perfect bed on various websites. After reading hundreds of reviews I finally settled on this one and Im really glad I did! As others have said the color is a bit darker, more of a cherry which actually matched the wood in my house better than the color in the pictures. The wood is real wood with a smooth and buttery finish. The instructions were very clear and all the pieces were correctly labeled, very easy to put together and not too many different pieces. The only thing we might need is some more sticky pads underneath to keep the mattress from slipping around which Im not too worried about. The bed is beautiful and sturdy, if we have any issues later Ill update this review. All in all Im very happy with this purchase!
