I work from home so I use the chair everyday for 8+ hours. So far so good. Although I cant say that this is the best office chair Ive used, but for the price, its a good value. The price range for office chairs can vary a lot but I didnt want to spend more than 125 dollars for one.
Assembly: It was fairly easy to assemble
/ Some of the screws were a little difficult to secure. I found it especially hard when attaching the arms to the seat and then again when I was screwing the arms to the back of the chair.
/ Some of pieces dont line up as well as I thought they should, specifically on the arms to the back. I thought it should have a slightly longer screw for this section since I can see gaps. Good thing is that it still feels stable when I lean back.
/ Securing the arms to the seat was slightly confusing since the arms were not labelled top to bottom as well as left and right. At least the arms were labeled left and right though. If not, I probably would have been confused.
Liked but not loved:
/ Securing the tilt angle has been a struggle; it doesnt have a starting tilt position that you can lock in. It goes back all the way back to a straight position. I prefer to lean back slightly at first so this is a little irritating. However, this might be user error but with other chairs Ive used, it was rather simple to figure out.
/ I wish that the height of the seat could be a little higher in its top locked position. Theres still a space of 8 inches between me and the bottom of the desk so I use a pillow to sit on. I know that this is just a preference since Im only 51 but it would have been a nice feature (or I should have bought a lower desk).
Especially liked:
/ Ive never used a back chair before but Im liking it more than I expected. Its a lot cooler than the solid back type. Its definitely cooler than the high back leather executive chairs.
/ The seat moves up and down easily.
/ The chair feels stable and turns 360 degrees without any problems. I dont feel any drag with the wheels.
/ I use it directly on my laminate flooring and there are no scratches from the wheels.
I would probably buy this again as long as it lasts at least a few years. Im happy but just not in love.
