My son loves his big boy bed. My husband didnt wind up in the ER trying to assemble it and I think its a good value for the price. Its pretty sturdy, especially with the bar that goes across the length. I like that the ladder is at an angle and not just completely vertical. Its really low to the ground so its a great transition bed for little ones and not as scary when they are able to sleep on the top bunk. The low height makes changing sheets a bit of a struggle but its worth it for the piece of mind of having him closer to the ground.
