Fortunately my package came with all the proper pieces and the bed looks great. it fits great in small spaces! Mattresses are not included but any size twin fits on the bed perfectly. This bed is great for guests and doubles as a couch when the trendial is pushed in. Its very comfortable and is easy to pull out the bottom bed and close it, as long as the blankets arent too thick. I tried to push the bottom piece in with a comforter and it was very difficult.
