We got this for one of our spare bedrooms in the basement that also acts as our office, so this is not what we would consider an important piece of furniture that will be used often, and for an inessential piece of furniture that is going to be rarely used, this is okay, it serves the basic purpose. We wanted a daybed so that the bed could double as a sitting space (i.e., couch). It took two people roughly two hours to put together, and my partner had to make some modifications because not all of the holes were lining up. Given his level of irritation, I would urge those who dont have the building skills or tools to make it work when building mail/order furniture to pass on this because chances are good, something(s) isnt going to line up and youll need to modify it.
In addition to that, the frame was surprisingly flimsy for being metal.
This is an acceptable/mediocre option for a bed that will receive little and/or sporadic use. If you need something for regular use OR you want something that even sporadic guests will be 4/star comfortable inyou need to look elsewhere.
