I couldnt build this daybed myself because of a recent surgery. So I had a good friend build it for us. Im pretty sure he had a bit of a problem when I heard the sounds of a drill. When he was finished, I did ask if the holes didnt line up correctly. He told me not to worry about it, he was able to correct the problem and the bed was built and it looked great. He told me that some of the holes didnt line up correctly, some of them did.
We got this into our spare bedroom and love it. It makes such a big difference with having so much more room in that particular bedroom.
Instead of having a large queen size bed taking up 1/3 of the room, the daybed only takes up the room of a twin size bed. Then, if we need to, we can pull out the trundle part and have an extra bed. Then when they leave, we just push the trundle back under the bed and its out of sight.
Seemed sturdy enough and looks really nice.
Looks fantastic once its built
