I used this with a repurposed foam mattress and a canopy set (also from ) to create a resort style cabana near my pool. The style and structure have held up to northeast summer weather wonderfully. I realize this is not an outdoor fixture, but it was inexpensive enough that if I have to replace it every couple of years so be it. I have enjoyed it tremendously as place to find shade and relax while the grandkids swim, my guests all think its cute and it goes very well with my Mexican pool décor. its worth it to me!
