Modern, easy to assemble, inexpensive, comfortable for day and night!

I was very excited to find this bed after looking for a while, One attribute I wanted was drawers under the daybed, but I ultimately decided it waws unessential, and with some of the beds (IKEA etc) no drawers may be better than cheap drawers. Also, underbed storage is still possible without drawers! We have been using this bed a couple months now. OVERALL, it was very easy to put together, pretty quick, and I did it alone (more on assembly below). I let me daughter help at the end, which was a good team effort, the slat boards are easy to assemble for a kid, and I put them in, which was a breeze. I am glad that it looks nice, and was so inexpensive! The walls on three sides are convenient for use lounging/sitting any direction, like a couch; and a bed at night. Initially, I wanted a more standard day bed, with no wall on the end, mostly for aesthetics, but overall I think the wall is convenient for having more than one person sitting. You cant hang off the bed when you sleep, or lay too far down, but in a normal bed you wouldnt do that anyway. Having the wall there you notice it more when you are laying too close though. ASSEMBLY NOTES//I had a couple issues putting it together, I was shocked to see what I was quite sure were misaligned pre/drilled holes on either the walls or the back piece so I called customer service; they requested some photos and would send me a new side wall. I asked if this sort of things ever happens and the women said not with this model, but with others. Overall the customer support team was helpful, patient, attentive, and willing to work with me. However, while on the phone discussing the issue I finagled the pieces together, which literally seemed impossible. I kept customer support on the phone as i now had to attach the other end, and still it was no easier. tt really was a case of wiggling the thing around a lot to get it in, by the looks of things, it would never fit, but it did. I wont say I forced it in, but somehow it went and it was a big stretch, I dont know if it was misaligned or not, the thing is basically together fine now, so maybe it was just a tough piece to wiggle in. I am curious if anyone else has this issue. Overall, I am satisfied with the daybed, its very modern and attractive. You can tell its cheaply made when you lean into it, but it works and looks good; it probably wont last forever, but that is ok.
