It really was one of the easiest things I have had to assemble over the years. It comes in about 11 pieces + the slats, which are together which makes it easy. All of the hardware fit perfectly. It is sturdy for now, but it is still a new purchase. The color is nice and deeper than in the pictures of the product being sold. For the money we paid for it it is amazing.
