My tween wanted to sleep on the floor. I wanted a neat looking room. This bed frame was the compromise. Their existing mattress fit inside with room to spare. Its now strung with fairy lights and my kids creativity is running wild with what they can do — hang fabric over the top for a private space or to keep the sun out, hang objects from the frame. I had help from a couple of people holding the frame up during the build. I recommend some teamwork for a quick easy build. Well made, easy to assemble and useful.
