This is a very comfortable desk chair for those with disabilities or chronic illnesses that make regular desk chairs unbearable for long periods of time. I bought this for my home office setup because I have POTS and cant leave my legs down for very long without experiencing low blood pressure, dizziness, fatigue, etc. This chair allows me to sit cross/legged or recline with my feet up on an ottoman and it feels just like Im sitting on the sofa! Im glad I can finally work at a desk comfortably. Setup/assembly was fast but it was a little heavy to place the seat onto the pedestal, so ask for some help if your disability prevents heavy lifting. You also have to turn the screws a little with your fingers so keep that in mind if your disability prevents fine motor movements. But overall comfy and easy! Only gave 4 stars because it has no wheels, but its not really a problem.
I love the and how wide it is. I bought it to sit cross/legged and its perfect for that. Im 50 for reference. However the base and the chair arent actually attached, they just sit on top of each other. When I pick it up either the chair comes off the pole or the pole comes out of the base. As long as it stays in one place I guess its fine but its very strange. I just bought a stool for much less thats put together the same way but stays together. It feels sturdy enough when Im sitting on it but Ill update if anything changes
This chair is perfect for a work from home situation, which is what I purchased it for. It is sturdy and wide, which is especially nice if youre a person who likes to sit cross/legged while you work! The back and bottom cushions offer the perfect combination softness and support // if you are looking for a lumpy, cushy chair, this is not it, but it is definitely not hard either. I am considering buying another one for my actual office. 5/5 stars! Aming!
ive had this chair for a few months, pieces started falling from the bottom and its very loud when you move around and the back doesnt hold up very well. Its also a bit crooked. Good chair but definitely not worth the price
For the price, the chair is stylish and acceptable. Its not overly comfortable, and although it is technically padded, its really just a thin bit of cushion over the structure of the chair. I was expecting to sink into it, and you absolutely do not, hah! There is zero lumbar support, and the arm rests are awkwardly low. Im 56 and theyre just like, 2 too low. For the price, the chair is fine. I use it for one really long (10 hours) day, and then for 2/3 hours at a time on other days, and its fine. If I was working full/time from home, theres no way this chair would work, its just not supportive enough. I dont hate it, but would not recommend it to a friend.
My office in our new home is a built in desk in the kitchen. My old leather office chair looked horrible. Got the velvet chair. Its comfortable, sturdy looks aming. Have some turquoisey/bluish appliances this ties it all together
