LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed!!!!!!!!! It feels like velvet!
When you first get the package, you seriously wonder what have I done. Assembled about two hours later, and you’re like, yes! It’s beautiful and pretty sturdy. I absolutely love the teal/aqua blue color and it goes so well with jewel colored throw pillows. Don’t let all the bits and pieces scare you. It’s not too complicated to assemble, but is a bit tedious. It is helpful to have a another person and cordless drills with Allen wrench bits. I ordered the Jenna 8” inch mattress and I’m not exaggerating in saying that it’s the most comfortable thing I’ve slept on.
Ordered for my daughters new room and I was worried because there were no reviews on . Checked other websites for Reviews and absolutely no pictures of the teal color. Arrived today and it’s BEAUTIFUL! The color is a little darker and more teal than the photos on - but I was not disappointed. Assembly was a breeze and it houses a 12” mattress with plenty of headboard left over!
The navy color is beautiful and the velvet is super soft. When comparing to other beds of the same quality, they cost twice as much. It was hard to assemble for one person, but I managed.
We did have to take it apart to move it. The slats that hold the top mattress in broke when disassembling. We ending up gluing the slats into places so the frame and slats were all one piece. It should make it way easier the next time we have to disassemble/reassemble. Regardless, I still love this bed!
First glance it was heavy, i was intimidated...once my friend starting putting it together it got easier and easier and i loved the design and feel of the bed. They really thought about things. Even the slats are the most thought about ive ever seen in a bed. They already curve as to not bend over time. Bed feels nice and velvety...its more teal under my lighting but i like that...i was a little nervous to get kids bed but idk whos kid is living this lavish lol i have 12 inch mattress so if you wanna see more of the bed get a 8 inch
I was assembling this by myself, it took me about four hours with no power tools. Directions were straight foward. Screws and other small pieces come in their own separate blister pouches so they are easy to find. The bed put together is very sturdy, and it looks great. One major thing is that if you plan to use it as a couch you need a low profile mattress, no more than eight inches. Same thing for the trundle. The fabric holds up nicely, even with three cats in the house. And one very clumsy, spill-prone husband.
Purchased this bed in the dark blue color first then decided to order the light gray as well. We have a blue velvet chair in the room this was going in and the two blues did not match so we ended up keeping the gray bed. I assembled this bed myself and I’m a woman in my 20’s. Super simple just follow the instructions. Overall probably took about 2 hours to complete with me doing other things in between. Some reviews said they had issues with the holes not being drilled correctly for the hardware but this was not the case for me. I was worried when I ordered the gray that it was going to be dark based off of other reviews/photos but it’s truly is a light gray. The velvet also slightly changes based off of which directly you sweep it in. Also if you’re looking at the dark blue color it is more of a bright hue versus a dark navy. Still so beautiful. The bed feels decently sturdy but I also haven’t put the mattress on yet. The trundle underneath slides super smoothly and does come out completely so you could essentially put the trundle part across the room etc... As far as mattress height if you want the velvet tufts to show I would say 6-8” max is what you should do for the top portion and really probably 6” for the trundle portion. I did measure and it will only fit a true twin NOT A TWIN XL. Also wanted to note I purchased a brand new blue color bed but when I went to order the light gray they only had “used” ones sold by warehouse. It advised that the bed may come with slight flaws but primarily the outer box would be damaged. I expected to find some issue with the bed but I’m almost positive it is brand new although the outer box was a little scuffed up, but who cares right? The only little thing I can find is a small mark on front panel of the trundle board that looks like a slight grease color, maybe from someone touching the hardware then the velvet. Don’t be afraid to buy used if it’s from directly. Overall super satisfied with this bed ( this will be used for adults in a guest room) and for the money the quality is great. The photos I added showing the assembled bed are taken during the day in natural light and I also uploaded a photo showing the blue alone and the blue and gray next to one another in case anyone wanted to compare, but these were taken at night with inside lighting.

Looks expensive, good quality, truly a light gray color
