    Beautiful Frame

Not the easiest to build, but a beautiful finished product

    the directions were backwards!

Love everything about this now that it's put together but it took me FOREVER to figure out how to put some of the pieces together! Took me about an entire day but in my defense, the directions had things labeled very backwards. Once I figured out what was wrong though, I had it all together super quick!

    platform bed

wanted a wooden platform bed that was higher than the average platform bed. Good price and the height I was looking for

I do NOT recommend this bed frame.

This platform bed looks cheap. The wood doesnt match around the bed., there are multiple shades of brown. The description states is it solid wood but it looks like a laminate with a partial wood backing. Not the easiest assembly, lots of pieces.

    Great value, so sturdy

We needed a new frame as we purchased a mattress that requires center supports in the warranty. I searched for days to match my price point, type of wood, and appearance with the sturdiness factor. This hit all my needs. It took my husband and I about an hour to put together but only because we've learned thru experience that going slowly actually saved time in the long run. The frame is tall enough to store items underneath. We have bumped into the outside center supports a few times but that's just something different to get used to. One feature that is really great, and I saw nowhere else, is that the slats fit into the side pieces rather than ride along the inner rails. No movement! Truly a great frame for a great price point.

    Long assembly is worth it

Takes a while to put together but very worth it. Its beautiful and sturdy. make sure youre assembling your pieces on a soft surface like a carpet or blanket, I have a pretty big scratch on mine, but I think its my fault. Also, make sure you screw the spindles in tightly so they dont rattle. Mine rattled at first so I tightened them a bit and it fixed it

Beautiful bed but significant work to construct

I am fairly experienced at assembling furniture, and this was by far the most elaborate piece I have ever had to build. Be sure to clearly separate and organize all of the screws in separate and labeled areas to ensure that you do not use the wrong screw in the wrong area. Installing the slats and the spindles for the back portion took the most amount of work. Everything basically requires hand tightening with a screwdriver as most powertools would be too strong unless you had an electric screwdriver. Instructions were overly simplistic, need to really review each piece and ensure that you have the correct part. Also requires a large area to build the frame and then the separate spindle portion to attach to the top of the bedframe.

    Knotty slats

Despite slightly confusing instruction, product assembled easily. Bed slats were very knotty and two snapped with in one of use. Slat issue rectified by overlaying with 1/4 plywood cut to fit frame tightly.
