Very comfortable. The bed looks just like the picture and I know my daughter will love it. We had to use screws from my husbands tool box to make up for missing screws and hardware that didnt even fit the wood properly. No big deal other than we couldnt assemble the drawers because of the missing hardware. We also received this with no instructions but the seller responded within 12hours with a pdf of them after I asked.
Other than a few hiccups, I feel like for the price we got a good deal!!
Very well made Cute bed! I put this together myself in about 3 hours. With two people would be a lot quicker. Holes dont always line up and there are a lot of pieces, but for the price I think it was a good buy. Shipping was fast!
First ill say my 2.5 y/o son loves his bed! It was a pain to put together. It wouldnt have been bad but I had to basically re-drill every single hole on this thing. The holes were not wide enough for the screws provided to go in deep enough for the connecting pieces to stay together. If I did not re-drill a hole to widen it the slates were literally falling off. Either provide longer screws or widen the holes so the screws can actually do what theyre supposed to, hold the bed together! The bed is now sturdy after all of the re-drilling and looks great but it was pretty annoying. I would not buy again
Sweet and comfy This bed is amazing. My baby loves it. She had been crashing on my bed since day one and I needed something for a smooth transition. This was it. She hated the toddler bed I originally got her; never slept on it. She loves the comfort this bed provides and the ability to put all of her stuffed animals on the bed with her. The storage bins below are pretty spacious. Picture doesnt do it justice. Definitely a task to put up. The good thing about this bed, once shes older I can turn the bed around and it resembles a canopy style. Definitely get an 8in twin size mattress. Theres still room between the mattress and the little windows, if youre concern about the child falling out. The 6in mattress would be significantly low. Also, there is a a 5in or so gap once you lay the mattress down. The frame of the bed is longer than the mattress. So I put some of her stuffed animals there. Overall, its a great bed for the price as well. It also comes in two boxes when you receive it. Hopefully this helps...
Must have! This was the perfect surprise big girl bed for our 3.5 year old. She wouldnt leave her toom for the whole first weekend.
Good: Price point was good, considering a lot of burning normal twin bed frames are priced similarly. Delivered quickly, is as described, looks pretty, and is as sturdy as promised.
Cons: There is a big gap at the foot or head of the bed from the last slat to the frame, that would be fine if a standard twin fit the space exactly...but a standard twin fits short...so you need to fill it with a thick blanket oe body pillow. Thats what we did using a cute body pillow from (not pictured). You will want thay pillow at the head of the bed, so thay kiddo doesnt accidentally hit head on window edge. Prob not an issue with older kids, but wirh 3.5 year olds a concern. If you are a perfectionist, you will struggle with a fee places the boards dont match up precisely flush or a gap between boards may be a smidge off from the next.... but nothing noticable.
As for ease of assembly...my husband is relatively good at these things...so I cant say its easy for everyone..but he had no problems.
Elegant and very comfortable This is beautiful bed !!! My daughter loved it !! It did come in a billion pieces lol but my husband and I had no problem building it . Instructions were very clear.
My daughter loved the bed and the size is perfect. Assembly was easy however some screws were missing. There wasnt enough for entire assembly and we had to purchase more at hardware store. There was also some issues with the sturdiness. Screws stripped wood easily. This bed was at a good price and my daughter can grow into it. Not sturdy at all,
The measurements are off, holes dont align. The instructions are beyond confusing and the illustrations are too small. I had to put it together like a puzzle. Im disappointed but my daughter doesnt know the difference. I do think it is over priced for the cheap wood used. Was not as good as it looks does not worth the money
Cozy and sturdy. My 3 year old is in very imaginary phase. When she saw this bed, she immediately wanted to sleep on it and pretend to play with her forest animals.
Tip:
The mattress is a little high, so I use a body pillow as a barrier to prevent her from falling off the bed.
The colors of the bed arent consistent. Looks like they forgot to stain some of the parts or chose different colors. Also the instructions were a little off when I was building the window sides - the letters were mixed up.
The stairs are screwed on the bed, but they dont have a tight fit. I dont see a harm with it, but wasnt what I was expecting.
Lastly, not every piece aligns, which means there are spaces on the roof part.
You definitely need two people to built this bed! And I recommend have at least two of the tools they ask you to use, so two people can work on it at the same time.
Other than all of the above, your kids will love it!
