The box arrived with a few dings and dents, but the couch was unblemished. All screw holes were done well, all the legs went on easily, and I am not very good at this stuff. It is a bit stiff to sit on / but it is brand new. The info in the box advises not to let kids jump and play on it. It is inexpensive, but functional. It is not indestructible. For super tough and strong / you would pay far, far more. As a bed / again / a bit firm, but it works. I do like how the back extends and the rear legs are set back for better balance as bed. I would prefer better arms / wider at the top / with no gap between the arm and the back when fully upright. My only suggestion. I would buy this again.
I had to loosen the screws on one side of the front hinge to mount the front middle leg and then retighten the hinge screws, but other than that, there were no real problems assembling it. The detachable arm rests are a great idea, theyre easy to remove or put back into place. I enjoy a firm or extra/firm sleep surface and this couch hits the mark for that. So far, this convertible couch is well worth the money. My only real gripe is with the delivery companys ambivalence to deliver the almost 100 lb. box to my door, they refused delivery the day before I got a determined driver/delivery person.
I was not sure that the sofa would of a good quality before buying it because of its price and other reviews but finally I got it delivered today and it looks perfect. Exactly like on the photo. Easy to assemble, comes in one box. Note that legs and cushions are at the back of the sofa before assembling it. It is pretty firm but I like it.
Fits perfectly in my office, not too big/small. Great color (slightly darker than the picture, more smokey color). They guy that delivered it was really nice and courteous and help me to slide in in the door instead of leaving it outside.
