I am a small sized person and this chair is comfortable overall for about an hour or so. Not overly cushy, but still soft enough to relax while watching TV in the room I use for exercise workouts. It's easy to get in and out of.....unlike my sofa. So for me this chair is great for a good short term rest, which was my purpose in buying it.
I love this chair and ottoman. I've had it for over a year and it's comfortable and convenient. Not sure why anyone is complaining about this chair. I've fallen asleep in it and so has my boyfriend. It's soft and the teal color is so pretty! Easy to move around too. Assembly was no problem whatsoever
