I finally put this bed together and my kids have been using it for a couple of weeks now.
The Good:
Price is decent for a twin/full bunk bed
Assembly is relatively easy
The Bad:
Bed arrived with some cracks as others have mentioned. Appears to cracked before shipping and possibly during the manufacturing/cutting process.
The cracks were only on the full bed and was not in a place that would compromise the integrity of the bed. This bed is not made to last more than 10 years. This will get my daughter through middle school then I think we would have to purchase something else.
The Good:
Easy to assemble, made of wood, good value for a twin/full bunk bed. It will work for our needs.yet
Its a decent bunk bed for the price. Like the other reviewers, I notice cracks along the wood as well. So far, Im fairly disappointed.it doesnt seem to affect the overall structural support of the bed, but I guess well wait and see. The space between the slats are too wide in my opinion. I am planning to buy a bunkie board for the top bunk to play it safe.
Its okay!but I would love to get what I paid for without any cracks but all in all it took four hours to put together not that bad since we did throw out the girls toddler beds earlier that day so my girls seem to love it I do too but I would like a replacement for the pieces that you have cracks in them! But other than that its nice
The image looks good, the problem is you can not see underneath where the child on the lower bunk looks up to see a wooden unfinished frame.
the upper bunk has a very cheap frame made of unfinished wood (splinters) and is unsightly for anyone especially children going to bed. I was able to assemble the bed within 1 hour by myself, but unpack the box upon delivery and bring in all the parts as the box weighs a ton. No Mattresses included as described, but you can not use any mattress, you must buy the hard base ones or else the kids will feel those wooden slat boards. I may have to go to Home Depot and purchase piece of wood and fix this bed so its safe and comfortable. I used white duct tape to cover the wood cross bars or else splinters galore. Im fairly disappointed.
This bed was easy to put together but had some scratches when it arrived. Like others have stated, this material seems to dent/scratch easily. Overall construction seems fairly sturdy. Might not hold up to heavy abuse. The cross members flex quite a bit. I am so disappointed.
I have not ever seen so many pieces in my life. Then the box arrived opened, I am going to be so mad if parts are missing when I put this bed together. not just look at it
