    Cottage chairs

Not sure how they would do on everyday use with kids. But for our cottage they are great

Lol, hurry up and get more in!!!

These are truly good quality, good looking, sturdy chairs. The assembly was easy enough, and I really like the fact that I will be able to cover the seats in material that is more to my decor, but also being able to leave the original covering intact. The color of the dark walnut is just pretty - and classy looking. I only wish that my other 2 would have been sent, but the vendor contacted me to inform me that they had made the decision to not send; as the shipping box that they rcv'd was very badly damaged, effecting the wood on several places on the chairs. I certainly do appreciate the fact that this vendor did not treat this sale on a beggars can't be choosers basis, saving me the time in repackaging and returning

    uncomfortable

These look nice, but after assembly (at some effort) when you sit, the wooden seatback is at an angle that digs into your back. The whole family complained. Also, two legs (why two of four?) have black plastic tips that leave marks on white floor. My lesson: never buy a chair I haven't sat in.

    Great comfort, but poor screws

Love to sit in these chairs; they're comfortable and I love the sloping back...BUT the screws keep falling out! We had them about 6 months when one by one the screws would fall out! And they're almost impossible to find replacements for. I'm going to contact and also the manufacturer because I love the chairs and it will be worth the effort. I wish I h ad bought the warrantee, but I didn't think it was needed--wrong!

    Cheap

You get for what you pay for. Bolts keep coming loose and 1 chair already broke. Have only had them for about 1 1/2month

    Impressed!! Would buy again.

My wife and I were looking for a set of chairs that would match our custom table, I gotta say I was Impressed with the style, the build and quality and shipping, and price. Being in Calif, Warehouse was in the Bay Area they were shipped in two days with Prime, I took a chance and purchased 3 sets (6 Chairs) Once your studied the instructions 1 sheet instruction page and put one together, the rest went quickly and I had to put together 6 chairs. I looked over for any flaws, cracks, nicks in the wood, each chair seem to be built well and checked before shipping, and boxed up real nice. Two Chairs per box, slight smell from the manufacturing process either from the seat cushion material or the stain on the wood. But on the 2nd day, the smell has seem to dissipate. If your that sensitive, I would probably just place them in a garage or patio for a day to air out, but not necessary. Manufacture date was stamped December 2019 I noticed on the cushion, so they seem to be built somewhat recent. Comfort wise, they seem to be comfortable, comparing them to plastic modern chairs from CostPlus we replaced them with, I shall see as we start to use them more and my three young boys sit and go through them on day to day use, I'll report back in a few months to see how they really hold up. But for the mean time. As one reviewer indicated, just use the Allen tool provided to just loosely hand tight as you place the chair together and use a power drill with the screw driver and Allen head attachment to tighten. Lay out the screws that come with the chair, and match them with the instructions so you know what you have and or missing and build away. It's simple enough for a teenager to put together. As another reviewer indicated, the seat cushion is not pre-drilled, but the screws provided drive in with ease with little push down on the driver. You could even screw it in by hand if needed. So if your hesitant on buying this set, I say go for it, these are really nice modern Mid-Centry looking chairs for the price, best price for the Baxton seem to be on . I did purchase the 5 year warranty from just for peace of mind.

    Great quality for the price!

These chairs are great for the price! They are definitely not meant for anyone bigger set however they are great for the price easy to assemble and pretty sturdy and they look expensive for the price!

    Glad I bought

I was a little hesitant to purchase these chairs based on the reviews others had left, but I'm glad I did- in fact I bought 4 of them. The chairs were in perfect condition out of the box. Once assembled, they are remarkably sturdy and comfy despite other reviewers saying otherwise. They are also relatively easy to assemble- took about 7-10min a chair. The most important thing to consider is that in order to appropriately assemble these chairs IT IS NECESSARY TO USE REAL TOOLS. Namely an electric drill/impact driver is required (see photo)- otherwise the chairs will not be sturdy or easy to assemble. It is also imperative to READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY otherwise you can have issues others have discussed. I almost made the a mistake by going too fast and not paying attention.

Definitely a good value for the price.

For the price, these are great. My husband assembled four chairs very easily and quickly. I have some very big/tall friends and family and they held up great under weight. They look nice and nearly match my vintage Lane Acclaim dining chairs. The seat cushion is very padded but firm. In my photos, the chairs on the left are vintage, and the chairs on the right are these new Baxton chairs. The last picture shows the row of 4 chairs on the left along with the six vintage chairs at the heads and right side of the tables. Can hardly tell they dont match! Im very happy with them.
