Love the look of this large chair, its very comfortable and well built. A little disappointed that the legs are plastic but has the look of wood. Over-all I am very happy with the chair.
This is an elegant and chic upscale style accent chair. You do have to put this together but it doesnt take long. Its very pretty and the fabric is thick and great quality.
I was easily able to assemble this myself and you need NO tools! All that is required to assemble is to attach the super cool gold legs. Screws and a lil Allen wrench is included. SO easy! Chair is supposed to hold up to 300 lbs but I would def only use it as an accent chair. Its not what I would call a comfy lounging chair. I got the orange and its not a bright orange, its more like a rust shade. So retro and CUTE!
A comfortable, modern-look armchair. Good support, cushy without being soft. The construction is sort of lightweight, but the price is reasonable to match. The microfiber covering is one of the materials my cats dont scratch, and cleans up easily.
Its sized just right for an average-sized adult. If youre particular heavy, or tall, you may find this chair too small. But for me at 511 and near 200lbs, its a perfect fit. It also turns out the back of the chair is a perfect space for a cat to hang out with you (pictured).
The feet need to be attached, so some assembly required-- theyre found tucked under the seat cushion. Its a little clumsy screwing them in, since there arent pre-drilled holes, but its a one-time effort and not difficult. But a long screwdriver or electric driver will make it easier.
Only quibbles: For some reason my chair arrived a little gritty under the packaging, and required a thorough lint-rolling after unpacking (no damage, just dirt). The pricing and availability here also varies more than Id expect for furniture, and colors are often out of stock.
For a casual, comfortable chair a step above Swedish style furniture, without getting into the cumbersome traditional pieces popular with Boomers, this Darcy Contemporary line does the trick. Im hoping it holds up in use. If it doesnt, Ill update my review. But for now, Highly Recommended.
