We bought this for my daughter's new Unicorn room. She saw a bed like this, at a furniture store...but it was out of stock with no ETA available. Found this, before I could walk out of the store and ordered it. I wasn't missing any pieces, as others stated. However, the little slats that you have to put between the bed and mattress are very thin boards that are like a 1/4 inch thick. We had to take boards from her old bed and use them over those slats (if not, we were heading to Lowes or Home Depot to get a piece of plywood cut), or they would break every time. The slats are extremely cheaply made and be prepared for them to break.
We built it, placed an 8inch mattress om the bottom and a 10 inch on the top as recommended, it looks beautiful. We have it in our guest room/ office. I would suggest thicker slacks for better support. Highly recomment it. It really looks AMAZING!!!! The quality of its exterior is so worth it. I love it.
We have had this daybed for just over a month and are thrilled with it! It is being used in a bedroom in which my mother is staying right now. Definitely sturdy enough for a small adult. We did use a pillow top mattress on it that is close to 12 inches thick, so there aren't much to the arms, but it still looks great made with euro pillows along the back. Looks like a high end piece. We are currently using the trundle for blanket storage, but it would be a nice addition if we had guests or for a child with sleepovers.
We love this piece of furniture! Its gorgeous, high quality and was really simple to assemble. (Took a couple hours with two of us.) It functions like a big comfy couch but is a great option for a nap or an overnight guest (or two!) We bought 6inch Zinus Memory foam mattresses from and they are the perfect height. I am so happy with this purchase.
We loved this trundle bed set. It's very sturdy and well-made, but the color is wayyy off! It showed up as a dark, deep blue, when what is pictured is more of a pale, greyish blue. Looked horrible in our room. So so disappointed. Unfortunately, we put it together before we realized and now have to take it all apart to ship back. There goes 4+ hours of my time. Called the manufacturer and they couldn't have cared less that the listing was misleading. Would not recommend unless you don't care about color.
Well built and easy to put together, the only thing that [might] be a draw back is the height of the bed. It's low profile. We just put 3'in leg extensions on it and it's perfect. My 13yo is in love with her bed.
We're so happy with our choice. I can't believe we got such a good piece of furniture for what we paid. It took a couple hours to put together, but the instructions were easy to follow. It came with extra screws and extra parts. It's very sturdy and it seems it will last a good while. I want to keep it looking new and that's almost impossible with little ones, so I placed a king sized blanket over it. My 8" full sized memory foam mattress fit the sofa perfectly and we used a 6" memory foam mattress for the trundle, although I believe an 8" would also work.
It comes in two heavy boxes and was delivered with care. I would suggest getting the delivery option that brings it to your entryway.

We bought this bed for our young daughter. We love it. It's super cute. We bought a full and I don't think this size would work for an adult.

The wood to support mattress is too thin.

Warning! Color is NOT as pictured - very disappointed
