Assembly was a breeze, took less than 30 minutes. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and there were even spare pieces should you need them. If you are familiar with instructions, these were even easier to follow. As far as the quality of the material, I was impressed to be honest. The finish is sort of a white wash. If you wanted to paint it I dont think it would be too difficult since it isnt a slick finish. Once I put the pieces together, it was solid and stable, no loose wobbly joints and everything tightened up nice and snug. Honestly I am really pleased with the item and feel that it was a bargain for the price! Regrets, none. Anything that could be improved upon, not that I can see. All in all, a quality piece at a great price!
The headboard does not evenly align with the frame when connecting them, is really the only big thing. Otherwise it takes a while to assemble with one person so I recommend two.
We liked that the whole assembly took about 1.5 hrs, and the result was a stylish and sturdy bed frame. Weve been pretty happy with it for the past few weeks. Just a notice that, if youve been using box frames in the past, it may be a while you get used to the metal legs that extend slightly beyond the mattress size on the corners, so be careful protecting your knees!
