My husband works from home and was always putting his laptop on the kitchen counter when his back hurt from sitting. I bought him this for Christmas and he keeps telling me how awesome it is. It is very easy to maneuver bebayse it has hydraulics. You can adjust how high you want it to go. Best 99 spent!
I am changing this review after using it. After you have the weight of the monitor and computer on it, it lowers MUCH more easily and smoothly. At first, this text following this applies. Most important, if you are a smaller person, you have to lay your left forearm across the top of the desk while releasing the clamp with your right hand to LOWER it. It requires a LOT of pressure, and if the desk is positioned further back on your desk, as mine is, then you need to be tall enough to lay your weight on the desk to push down. Be careful with the monitor wiggling. I am 52 so I cant get a lot of me across the top to push. I had read this in the earlier reviews, so I spent some time with it on the floor, working it up and down. It doesnt loosen up much, just a little. Packaging was great, except the zip tie that keeps it from expanding had already broken. they need to use a beefier zip tie. It was actually easier to turn the unit upside down to install the keyboard, since everything is colored black and its hard to find the screw hole upside down. As shown, I am not using the regular cable guides under the table, I use a Mac mini so the only cable is the keyboard cable, shown in white. All the rest of the cables flow down the back of the desk. Im getting a foam standing pad, standing can hurt your feet.
For the price, this is a great option. It was easy to assemble (Phillipshead only), the mechanism to raise and lower is smooth and simple (one lever on the right). Ive found myself using it both up and down each day and its not much of a thought to just move it based on my needs.
I viewed several and read reviews, and this one had a short how to assemble video I watched before purchasing so I could see how it looked,it was very easy with video to out together I have 2 monitors and a phone on it plus my keyboard and not many pieces to assemble which was great, no complaints at all
I got the desk sooner than expected. That was great. I assembled the desk and CANNOT let it down. I will have to send it back if the vendor does not offer a solution. I have emailed the company for advise.
Lifts up easy thanks to the hydraulics. Buts its hard to push down. I lift weights five days a week, usually heavy too. I have to lean on the unit when it is extended up, and push down with my body weight and muscle force and rock back and forth to get this thing to go down. While rocking back and forth, when im coming forward I push down on the unit and it slides down about 2 inches, repeat repeat repeat and its down. Its not a big deal cuz I can do it but my mom is is 52 and 90lbs could no way do it. I dont know if its my unit or they are all like this. Other than that it is sturdy and does what it supposed too. I really like being able to stand at my desk.

Love it except
Except the keyboard portion does stick out. Wish it had an option to push in or be removed. Other than that, its swell!
Husband said its the best gift ever

Sturdy, stable, easy and smooth when raising and lowering.
Easy to raise and lower. Sturdy and great platform size for my purposes.
Takes a LOT of force to lower it, not for the feeble, at least at first

Love it but came damaged
Came damaged, couldnt switch it out. Not worth the but it does the job. I would expect better quality for the money.
