    Disappointed

I was excited to put this together for my girls and the first night we had it. I sat on the end and the supporting bottom boards broke, I am only 135 ibs so that should have never happened. The next day my nieces were here and they laid on it and two more of the supporting slats broke. The whole construction is solid wood but would recommend supporting the slats they give you. may be returning

    Good and not so good

I bought two sets of the bunk beds and a separate trundle. The first set of bunk beds went together like clockwork, everything fit and an hour and a half later I was done. The second set, not so much, bottom headboard had no nutsert in it, 3 bottom boards were damaged, holes for bunk rods in lower headboard werent even close to lining up, and a slat was broken.cant believe one was perfect, other one was a nightmare. So much for quality control! The trundle was fine, went together ok. Only thing that should be improved is a close out panel between lower legs to cover end of trundle, it would be an easy fix with one flat board and 2 blocks on lower legs to attach it. ( Im making one today) Id buy them again, but may want to make sure your able to do some woodworkingBut other than that its nice

    Not a good option

This was difficult to construct. After less than six months of use it developed a longitudinal crack in the foot board and we discarded it due to safety issues. weight for top bunk was approx 160. Ad said up to 400 lbs safe. Hope to improve in the future

    Easy to assemble

Easy to assemble! Nice bed set. Only 1 piece had a small scratched area when delivered. Not as solid as our current bunk beds but are very sturdy. Exactly what we wanted! Happy Customer! I was very excited to receive!

    Great bed!

Looks great once it was set up. The pieces did not fit together perfectly/ we had to do some bending and holding in order to secure them together. Now that its set up it seems sturdy and looks great! SO happy!

    Consumer help

Company response great when screws missing. Time consuming assembly for retirees but now very sturdy for grandkids. Definitely looks nice.

    Decent bed frame

Love the simplicity of this bed frame. My husband is a carpenter and did not enjoy putting this together Bad directions. Scratches/dents easily. I wanted to use a box spring for the foam mattress we have on it but you cant or the mattress would be as tall as the top of the head board. Very impressed with the quality.

Solid, good looking and sturdy bed

I purchased the full size bed from and I am happy with the purchase. The bed is solid and looks good. Their Customer Service is also a pleasure to work with. I am knocking one star off of this review for a couple of reasons. First, one of the bolts that I received for the bed was unusable. I had to call Customer Service to get a replacement. Second, there is a slight design flaw with securing the foot board to the bed. More on that below. There are 2 screws (1 on each side of the bed) that secure the side rails to the foot board. These screws are nearly impossible to reach using a screwdriver because the screws line up exactly level with part of the side rails. Heres my tip for getting around this. Follow the instructions and assemble the rails to the foot board. They will attach without the screws (via metal hooks). The screws are used to secure the foot board in place. Mark where the screws will go using either the screws or a pencil. Now detach the foot board from the rails. Screw the screws all the way into the foot board without the rails in place. This will create the guide holes for the screws. Remove the 2 screws. Attach the rails to the foot board again. With the guide holes already in place, screw the screws back in to secure the foot board. You will still not be able to comfortably position your screwdriver, but you should be able to position it at an angle, and with the guide holes in place, the screws should go in at the correct angle. Its pretty though!
