Better than advertised. Solid bed, no complaints. Has held up with rambunctious kids, no wobbling/noises. You will need two people to put it together, took us about 2/3 hours. Make sure to get a 6 inch mattress or the side rails will not be tall enough (I purchased the Aveline foam mattress off of here and i highly recommend it) I love it!!
My husband was able to assemble this by himself in about an hour/hour and a half. It wobbles a tiny bit (I get up there with her) but it is a loft bed, they are naturally top heavy, this one is great at this price point. I am not concerned about the safety of it. My daughter is thrilled with it, she put her Barbie dream house underneath but someday it will be a desk. She loves that the ladder can be moved depending on what she is playing/doing in her room. very reasonably priced as well.
The frame came packaged really well! All the pieces were clearly marked with stickers, the hardware was in a labled box, and everything matched the instruction manual perfectly. The diagrams and instructions were well written and easy to follow. You could probably put the frame together with the allen wrench provided, but we used our own because the bolts were very tight when screwed into the wood (which is one of the reasons the frame is so sturdy!). You will also need a Phillips head screwdriver, and a rubber mallet might be helpful for some of the dowels.
We put it together with 2 adults in a little over an hour. I think 1 adult could assemble it if they were handy. Our biggest problem was keeping it from sliding around on the carpet when we were first pushing pieces together. The glossy finish on the white frame is very slick!
We were pleasantly surprised how sturdy it feels, and how nice it looks! The whole thing is made from wood, not MDF or hollow core boards. The glossy white finish should be easy to wipe down for cleaning.
We think our 7yo will be able to use it for many years. Cute and comfortable
There were 3 cracked boards and one very large dent in the post. The bed is sturdy enough, now that Ive glued the slated boards and made sure they were located on the side where they would be kicked or cause structural issues. Its not bad its just not great.
We liked that this was relatively easy to put together for 2 people, looks more expensive than it was. The instructions were clear. We advise having an Allen wrench on a power tool to make this much faster / dont use the tool in the kit unless you have no other option. Also, I would have left the box open on the porch for a day or 2 to off/gas the paint fumes before bringing it in the house. I did not let my daughter sleep on it the first night we assembled it because the smell was strong. She liked it so much that she really wanted to just sleep in the room with the window open to a 20 degree night. Love, love, love it!
Overall, a good loft bed. The design is a little more sturdy than another loft bed that we bought a here a couple years ago. The instructions were good and it went together relatively easily. Definitely a 2 person job. Only drawbacks were 2 mislabeled pieces and a long thin piece that was cracked (fixed with glue.) I would purchase again. it is very pretty.
I purchased this bed for my pre/teen for Christmas. I chose this one because it looked sturdy and the price was right. I am pleasantly surprised about the quality of the wood. A little work to put together but looks great! We can move the ladder from one side to the other as well. We put some string lights under the bed and now she has a blast hanging in her room with her friends. Happy with this bed!! I was very excited to receive!
This bed seemed sturdy once put together. The ladder came assembled, so we just put it up and thought all was good. I DID see a few areas in the wood of the bed that looked like cracks, but I assumed it was not a big deal. Last night, my daughter was at the top of the ladder, getting into bed when I heard screaming. The area where the screws were installed cracked right down the middle, right where the ladder meets the bed. My daughter landed on her back on her hard wood floor. Not only do I have an injured daughter, but good luck finding a customer service number for the manufacturer of this bed. If anyone has it, Id love to know what it is. such a disappointment

Sturdy wood loft, need to air it out a day or two
