All edges are expertly welded the interior pressure is more than adequate. The paint is heavy and should last forever with care. The seals are positive and all parts are precision made. All are necessary for value and longevity.
That said, the best of products are only good when packed properly and boxed for home delivery, the can was cared for with concern and I was surprised that it could have shipped glass in the box, Excellent job on all accounts. Ill certainly buy from these folks again.
Very impressed with s quality. It arrived Earlier than said it would(On a Sunday!). It was in perfect condition with not a scratch or blemish on it. If you think these are too expensive, remember the old saying You get what you pay for. My ten liter just added 60-75 miles to my Bronco Sports range. Now it can easily go 500 miles w/out fueling up. I am seriously thinking of getting another. I went with the smaller one because gasoline weighs six pounds a gallon, and it will be on top whenever I go out in the boonies. Im 64 so its easier on my back. In the Pacific Northwest, we four wheel summer and winter. Sometimes hundreds of miles from home. We have many brands of pickups, SUVs and even Subaru Outbacks in the family. I may even give them as Christmas presents. The family that four wheels together...
Definitely not worth the $100 I paid. Weld seam around top of can looks like a 5 year old did it. Crosses, over weld and back, they tried using sticker to cover up bad weld, which was put on on an angle Hope it holds fluid. Doesnt seem as sturdy as you would think. Time will tell
This can would be 100% perfect if not for the handle , kinda small for my hands. Any seal are standard o-rings, so it will be easy to replace down the road. First test with some fuel in the can is a perfect seal. I will keep this can.
I just noticed that I bought this can for $86.00 3 months ago. Now it is selling about $30.00 less.
Wish I needed 1 more can, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Pictures show recessed welding like original Jerry cans. It has exposed welding which makes it easier to fail. The rest of the design is good but I dont seeing paying a premium price for this. It also had paint chipped on arrival.
I was in the military and remembered how easy these gas cans are to use, ( I recently bought one of those new peace of garbage red plastic gas can you have to push 15 things to get a drop of gas out of!) With the military screw on the funnel open the vent and poor!!!
