We finally ditched the creaky old box springs on our California King mattress and the results are amazing.
First off, this frame is silent. No more creaking wood and the metal slats are snug tight so so theres no metal on metal noises either.
The clearance under this frame is quite generous but more importantly, it kept our mattress at the same election as before. You probably wouldnt think about how awkward that change would be but getting into the same bed (in the dark) for several years develops a habit that could trip you up until you get used to a new mattress height.
Assembly was easy but the instructions were a little unclear on the middle bar support of our Cal King so be sure to install it right side up so you dont have to re-do it as I did.
Also keep in mind that there are only six tabs, two on each side and two at the foot.
Easy set up, but developed a squeak any time I moved about a month in. Narrowed it down to one leg, tightened the bolts, squeak went away for a day and came back. Ended up having to loosen the bolts on that leg to get it to go away long term. Still just as sturdy with the one leg having a loose connection, but a warning for those that might run into this issue in the future. Be prepared to troubleshoot a few noise points to get it to 100% quiet.
My husband and I are both over 250lbs and the bed feels study and it does not make noises. I also love that there are not legs in the middle outer frame so no stubbed toes! Only in the inner part of the bed which gives plenty of room to store under the bed.
I was attracted to the design on these -- their rounded corners rather than the usual chunky square corners. I also liked the fact that they didnt have the exposed middle legs to stub your toe on when you get up in the night. Ive realized that would be a huge feature several times when my foot passed through that area. I bought the Cal King frame, and find it very sturdy, no complaints. (I did have to look up on the internet which side of the locking nut faces outward, but once I figured that out and tightened them all securely, the frame came together very solidly.
This frame is a bit pricey compared to others on . However, the reason I purchased it anyway and am thus far very happy with it, is:
1. The Middle legs are set inside the frame - therefore no stumping your toes when approaching the bed
2. Description indicated sturdy metal frame - does not disappoint, very sturdy metal frame
3. Rounded corner legs add to to the appeal of this metal frame - and reduces stumping your toes
4. Easy to put together . . . very straightforward . . . took less that 15 mins to put together; all tools were
provided
5. We slept on it last night (its our guest bed) and no issues, no squeaking, sturdy.
It does not have a headboard, and for the price am a bit disappointed, but other than that, Im very happy with this Queen Metal Frame.
I love the bed it is very sturdy and does not squeak. We took a long time to assemble the bed partly because we made mistakes and had to start over. My husband and I are not good at putting things together but we succeeded and are very happy with the result!

Simple
Simple, came with out instructions (or I lost them). But I figured it out from pics online. Sturdy frame.
Excellent product.
Sturdy. Exactly as described. Definitely worth the price!
Potential problems with squeaking.

Read directions before assembly and make sure to Side rails are right side up!
