You get what you pay for. I followed the directions exactly. Some pieces are too loose, other wouldn’t fit together. I wanted to return it but had most of it put together and needed a bed that weekend.
It’s was easy to assemble but the problem was that we weren’t given the right screws and wasn’t given enough of the “F” screws for the bottom support and we’re left with an incomplete bed frame which makes me worry about my safety since it’s incomplete. We have so many screws left over that we can’t even use and not the right ones too. How did this happen? Can you guys send me more of the screws?? We’ve done a lot with the bed frame and I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it and the box arrived all damaged!!
Edit: they can’t send more screws to me even though it’s their fault for giving completely wrong screws and still won’t do anything about it. And the last screw I have is all broken. Please don’t bother buying this.
I am currently putting this together and I am missing the C screw. It was supposed to come with 8 of them. However I have 18 of the D screw which are useless without C. I also had to bend some of the mental with pliers just to make the headboard able to be put together. I’m only on step 2 and have many problems. I can’t afford to go get replacement screws at the moment so I guess I’ll remain on the ground.
Bed would have been easy to put together if not for multiple factory imperfections. Some Knotches were cut halfway among other things. Wouldn’t have been able to finish building it if I didn’t have a hacksaw
First, for the price I was not expecting a fantastic bed anyway. Once we got the bed together, it seems sturdy enough and does not make a ton of noise. About a foot of under bed storage room. My son is 12 and it works well enough. Putting it together was awful though. We had several screws that were welded together, they needed to be broke apart so we could use them. Missing screws. Loose parts in the box and the worst part, most of the labeling stickers were not on the bags or on the parts. The stickers that were there, were all in the bottom of the box stuck together. It took about 40 minutes of just sorting parts and screws before we could put the bed together. So, decent bed. Bad quality control.
A lot of assumptions are made in the manufacturing of this item, and tolerances are so tight that any burr or warp in the metal will cause you problems during assembly.
Chunks of powdercoating flaked off while shoving the headboard pieces in to the vertical posts. Several of the lock washers exploded, something I’ve never seen but must be made of some not very durable metal. The metal will indent if you overtighten due to how thin it is.
The process of putting together this queen frame took about twice as long as a fancier king frame from another manufacturer did just days prior, and I’d say the king is far more confidence inspiring than this one. Last point/suggestion, the legs will scratch your floor. Put down a rug or put felt slider stickers on the legs. Perhaps a better idea would be to use rubbery stay-put stickers instead of sliders. 3M makes a product like this that I discovered after I put felt sliders on. Thankfully this is just a guest bed.
If you have a foam mattress this bed might not be for you. I have one and the first night was very uncomfortable. I could feel where the bars where under the bed. Lucky, I still had the wooden slats from my previous bed frame, and placed it between my mattress and the new bed frame. When I put the wooden slats in I could see the indent of the bars on my mattress. I think the problem is that they are too thin to provide the proper support.
I also didnt like screws/bolts are sticking out a bit.
It was easy to put together. It is a sturdy bed. I love how tall it is. However, I wouldnt recommend unless you had a box spring, or something to support a memory foam mattress.
The bed was painted white poorly and there was a decent size cosmetic smear on the headboard that looks awful up close and is rough to the touch. The underside of the bed is really rough so I’m hoping the kids won’t crawl under and get splinters.
Yes it’s sturdy, yes it’s easy to put together, But it’s ugly ,all you see is bolts. I had to put a bed skirt in it to hide all the nuts and bolts and the frame.

Not worth it

Cute bed frame but there’s a lot of problems

Imperfections

Once it’s actually together, it’s a ok bed.

Not the easiest or cleanest assembly

Not bad but not great
Some screws wouldnt go in as they should so I had to somehow force them in.
Sturdy but uncomfortable

Ok bed but not for looks

It’s ugly
