The bed is attractive. The boxes it comes in are very large and heavy. Plan on having help or being very strong. They arrive over the course of a week. So you cant send them somewhere where you are not (like a vacation home...unless someone is there). So you have them sent to your home and then drag them out to the truck (the boxes are huge and heavy). Then you get to where you want to go, carry them into the house and THE HARDWARE ISNT THERE. So youve got a pile of lumber. You email them and you get various automated emails but the hardware never arrives. This is just a bad situation. They tell you well give you a discount if you buy hardware from the hardware store. Im like are you crazy...all these weird sizes???
So... boxes out the waazzoo...bad instructions...no hardware...I think you can see where Im going. Dont buy this bed.
This bed arrived early, which was already a great start. I ended up putting this together alone in about an hour, they provide everything except youll need a power drill for the screws that hold the slats in place. Technically this is not needed to set up the bed.
The bed is very sturdy, and looks just like I was expecting. My purple mattress fit very well.
Ive shifted around a bit and dont hear any squeaking or have any concerns about this frame. Definitely well worth the money!
Ordered this bed and the foot board was cracked , messaged the seller and sent photos , was replaced within a week ... do to shipping (FedEx took a week to ship from California .

I really like this bed. It took 2+ hours to assemble by myself, but it is very solid. There is no movement or squeaking. I only took off a star because the headboard (beige) looks a bit dirty out of the box.
Thank you for such a beautiful bed and at such an affordable price. I came across this bed at Overstock and liked it so much. Found the same at with quite less $. Initially, I was skeptical but noticed that the seller was same. So, I ordered it with 2 matching nightstands. Im really impressed with the communication from seller. They proactively send the tracking details for all the boxes (as there were multiple). I didnt see this with other sellers at . The one box was lost in the transit, so the seller sent the replacement.
The quality of the bed is too good. I assembled it with my husband. If you just pay attention to the instructions, you can do it (have patience it takes time). The bed is quite heavy, just keep that in mind.
Only one thing bothers me is that there is no space at the head and the foot after putting my mattress, which makes changing sheets very difficult ( Im using Sertas iseries mattress). Hence, 4 stars.
When they first sent the bed frame, the box had a huge gash in it and the corner of the frame was chipped. I reached out to them and they were extremely helpful in sending me a new headboard. They even worked around a time frame for me because I would be out of town. The bed frame was easy to set up- I built it on my own in a few hours. So far, Im loving it!
It is beautiful but it came like the pictures show. It is a pain to sent it back. They should be more careful when they pack it. Sad because it is mot perfect but it is beautiful and very stsdy
This product arrived with a chunk of the box missing with a corner of the headboard portion of the bed exposed from the packaging aside from a TON of packing tape. Unfortunately due to this, the finish of the wood was damaged and there was some staining to the fabric portion. We decided to build the bed to assess for any other damage before contacting the manufacturer so we would know the extent of the damage and decide if we even wanted to keep the product (if we could get the damaged piece replaced). Aside from the shipping damage, this is a very nice, sturdy, attractive bed, especially at this price point.
I have already been in touch with the manufacturer who quickly replied, agreed that the damage likely occurred in the shipping process and have offered either a replacement or a partial refund. I have requested a replacement of the damaged piece as I really do like the look and quality of the bed. I will update this review when I hear back from them and get the issue resolved.
Overall, nice bed for the price if FedEx can get it to you without ruining it.
We had been looking at cost effective king beds for two years. Although there are many
options, our biggest concern was sturdiness, as many had marginal weight limits
that didnt seem to allow two normal size people plus a king mattress.
This product is very sturdy, well designed, elegant and assembled exactly like the instructions.
All the pre drilled holes lined up and are metal-to-metal connections
vs wood screws into wood. The only recommendation is to purchase your own two long handled
allen wrenches for less than $10, sizes M5 and M6, for ease of tightening the bolts.
We did not use an electric drill to avoid any possibility of the screws.
This bed was worth the wait.
Went together fairly well. Instructions were simple though I do with a bit larger. I also have stoped using manufacturing supplied Allen wrenches for my own ratchet version. Saves a lot of work and time
