I can see how youd like it if its not front and center in your living room. If you cant see into the back of it, and see clearly the side of it when walking by. ALL of the hardware is exposed on the inside, so you can see it from every direction. Also it hangs slightly off the wall, theres no getting around that. This thing is an overpriced piece of junk.
Its not made of actual wood, because if it were, itd be too heavy to put on the wall without extra support! But it looks great, and was able to to assemble and put on the wall within an hour. It made our living room open up much more, and was worth the price.
We bought a new bed but couldnt find a head board to fit our needs. We installed this on the wall, added some barn wood boards around it and now we have the perfect head board!
It is not high or deep enough. Now most receiver is 8 inches tall but it is 6.7 inches and also not deep enough for receiver. It is okay but not very useful
Very good looking, simplistic shelf. Seems sturdy. Instructions require/recommend 3 studs to screw to, but I mounted to 4 studs to add a little more strength. I also added a piece of black/painted cardboard to the back (it slides through open area in the back) to hide cables.
Looks Great rather simple to put up. We did however have to purchase different screw driver heads because the one Allan wrench piece that came included could not screw in some of the screws that put the shelf together itself. Other than that it looks nice! This does require two people to hang!
Overall this is a pretty nice entertainment stand. The finish is good and went together relatively easy. The only cons are that the unit is only 11.75 deep so a typical stereo receiver is going to hang out a good two inches or so. Also make sure you have some of your own hardware around, especially 3 drywall screws. I had several screws they provided without any threads on them and one of the plastic inserts the screws are supposed to go into was melted and half the size it should have been. Overall though I would recommend this item if its the type you are looking for.

Maybe a bit overpriced but very sturdy shelf and simple to hang up.

Color is off.
Love it! However, it is much darker than pictured.
Nice looking, solid for fiberboard
