I love my new bench! Its beautiful, sturdy, and came very well packaged and protected so there was no damage. The slow close lid is also a very nice feature.
Seemingly well built aside from one odd bolt hole that was improperly drilled. Arrived in excellent condition much faster than expected via FedEx. Packaging was solid. However, the hardware kit in the box (marked as the matching hardware kit part number) was missing all washers and had bolts that were 10mm longer than they should have been. This is obviously an issue with the factory, and not with the seller. Solution: Made a trip to the local hardware store and purchased the correct hardware, adding another 30 to the overall cost. So be itits assembled correctly and solid.
I am very, very pleased with this order. The benches are solid and attractive and match the farmhouse style décor of our coatroom entryway. I also purchased indigo seat covers that also work well. This was a great investment / my bad not thinking if my younger children would be able to sit on it; the bench is a little too high for them, but even they love it.
