I reccomend 2 people to put this together! It took about 3 to 3.5 hours to put together. It does not seem very sturdy at all! Also.. The trundle is not attached to this bunk bed at all! It is unclear as to how much weight it can actually support but from the Q A part it may be 220lbs (combined?) My kids really like the new bed however. I got 6inch twin mattress (baller on a budget lol) they fit beautifully! Overall I dont dislike this bed I give it about 3.5 stars out of 5.
Update: 6/13/2020
The bed is less sturdy than I hoped. The trundle couldnt support the weight of my child and broke! I had to take my child to the ER because they got a piece of the bed inside their toe and would not come out! This bed is a safety hazard! I wish I could get my money back!
What I disliked is how there was a damaged part, luckily you cannot see it when assembled but nonetheless no parts should come damaged. I also did not like that one part of the trundle was not painted white.
Other than that, it is a compact and space saving bunkbed for our 2 kiddos. We used the trundle for storage instead of adding an extra bed.
It is exactly like the pictures, pretty sturdy bed. Assembly is a bit of a pain as there are many steps and takes a few hours to complete but directions are pretty clear, It is a two person job though. Other than that, its a great bunk bed.
After I got it put together seems sturdy; assembly was horrible, parts mislabeled and incorrect instructions resulted in lost hours disassembling and reassembling. Also came in 2 boxes almost 2 weeks apart
Good bed for little kids. I wish the frame was more sturdy; frame can be rocked back and forth. Took my husband 4-5 hours to assemble. Came with a warning label to hazardous materials which I wasnt too happy about.
