I received this bedroom set yesterday and I will say I really do like it. It looks great (exactly like the picture), the fabric is nice, and it is a very sturdy bedroom set frame. I do have some things I think people should know before they purchase it.
1. The bedroom set took me 2 1/2 hours to put together, and I had help.
2. The slats that hold the bedroom set up underneath, are not the most sturdy.
3. One of the legs on the slats was bent and is uneven
4. The mattress that I purchased was a 12 inch memory foam mattress... There is a good 8 inches that put the bedroom set too low and it will require a box spring. I think the addition of a box spring will add to the sturdiness of the bedroom set. I think the slats are too far apart -- especially for a king size bedroom set. It seems like the mattress does sink in when I go to sit down on it. Laying down, I dont notice the sinking as much. I would recommend having a box spring.
Other than those things, I do really like the bedroom set. It looks just like the picture and the fabric is nice.

We have been shopping at all the major furniture stores for bedroom sets. One wanted $3,500 for a bedroom set like this, and it didnt have a footboard! I took a chance and ordered this from the picture. Im so glad I did! My husband and I put it together in 1? hrs. Only one final slat had a problem fitting where it was supposed to go. My husband had to push his feet against the frame with all his weight to get it to fit. But its beautiful, looks like we spent thousands on it, and seems very sturdy. One thing to know, though. As one other reviewer mentioned, this bedroom set is not a traditional cool blue gray. It is a warm gray, almost beige. But it is very neutral, goes with just about anything. Except maybe cool gray--it would clash. We are very happy with this bedroom set. Comes in a gigantic box! My granddaughter and I made it into a flat house for the week she was visiting from out of state!
The finish and quality are nice. It was well packaged and protected. The assembly was easy and took less than an hour. As we are not using the slats I can’t say anything about sturdiness. I’m really happy with our choice.
What a great piece for the price! Yes, my husband did the customary swearing during the set up but it took it about 15 minutes. He said the directions suck but luckily he has a brain so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. Thank goodness for handy husbands.
