Im a big man, 300lbs, bought a Nectar bed and frame on Thanksgiving day, the NECTAR frame broke within 3 weeks, was apprehensive on this purchase cause I was worried about sturdiness....... GREAT PURCHASE from !

Very attractive and good quality frame. Its also noteworthy that the brand makes an extra effort to provide very clear cut, quality instructions and even provides a few extra bolts and screws should you lose one along the way and an upgraded tool for putting everything together, all of which seems small but makes a difference if youre accustomed to assembling furniture from companies that do the least. Slats are joined by a Velcro web runner that joins with the frame, thus removing the issue of slats randomly dropping out.
This is a fabulous bed. I assembled the king size bed by myself with relative ease (as a petite woman) and there has been absolutely no creaking or wobbling of any kind. The bed is constructed of solid wood other than a metal support beam in the center and several of the center legs are metal. The color is more yellow than natural and there is a polyurethane coating that will make it hard for me to restain. But a gorgeous well made bed over all - highly recommended, especially for the price!
