We bought this to use the bottom full as a bed for our son and the top twin as a couch/guest bed. That means, for us, the two pieces are separate.
Pros: Fairly easy to set up. Good instructions. Quality feels sturdy. No scratches or issues with shipment and even arrived a day early!
Cons: If you do choose to have this bed in two separate pieces, there are very visible holes on the head and footboards of the full bed. Of course this is to be expected, but Id think something to plug or cover them would be included since an advertised bonus of this bed is the ability to use them apart. There is also a VERY strong chemical smell to this bed initially. We had just painted (low VOC) and initially thought that was the odor until it occurred to us we hadnt smelled the paint until we put the bed together. Unless this is going to be an unused guest bed, I strongly suggest you allow the bed to un/gas before use. Im concerned that my three year old smelled these fumes all night. I ended up using essential oils in a diffuser to help grab some of the smell. It helped a bit but is still noticeable almost a week later. Good deal and was easy to put together.
Im so happy with this bed! Its very good quality for little money. Its actually real wood and not particle board. The instructions were super easy and nothing was missing or broken. My little girls absolutely love it! You wont be disappointed with this purchase what so ever I love it space saver I am back to buy another one.
After long research I am happy that I bought this bed totally worth money and perfect for our kids 9 and 6. Both my kids are in 95 in height and weight. No complaints so far, study and comfortable. Great Product.
This bed is so awesome! Very sturdy and the wood was perfect no flaws! The mattresses that come with the bundle was a great suggestion for this type of bed! Youll be amed!!!! I like it.
I think it should include a few extra dowels some were shaped funny and just hard to fit. But overall we are definitely satisfied, it does take two people to assemble and it took most of the afternoon. Wow!! This was a great buy!!
