Perfect little closer for teens room

Buy it! What are you waiting for? This is a solid, good looking product. True to picture takes a while to put together b/c its a real piece of furniture with lots of parts, but the directions are detailed and everything fit together easily.

Sturdy, able to level, thoughtful instructions, great customer service

This cabinet isnt going to trick anyone into thinking that it is an expensive hardwood cabinet. Its plywood, but it is really nice for the price. The main selling point for me was that the base has leveling feet so we could have it in our basement where the concrete floor is lumpy and sloped. It arrived well packaged and the instructions were thoughtfully written. I recommend reading through each step carefully and laying out the pieces exactly as pictured. If the wood pieces dont line up,double check the instructions and youll likely need to turn it over or flip it. I found that all the holes lined up perfectly. Al the parts come in a single pack and each screw set is separated by a bubble that you cut into. Its a really slick system and it makes it easy to assemble. I also purchased the Sauder basic cabinet and this was a bit more complicated and time consuming to assemble, but if you have patience, it isnt a problem. Im happy with the overall look and sturdiness of the wardrobe. The clothes space is shorter than I expected, so you wont be storing long gowns in it, but it is good for separates. And a few of my custom wide hangers didnt fit, but regular hangers are fine. The bottom drawer is huge and can fit boots and all sorts of stuff. The last step when assembling is adding the doors, and at that point I saw that one of my doors was cracked. I went to the Sauder website, used their Contact Us form, and I received an email 2 days later saying that a new door was on its way. So as long as you dont wait to long to unpackage and assemble your cabinet, you can be assured that the Sauder team will send you anything you need. Overall, Im really happy I bought this. And it looks good with the other items in the collection.

    I like it

It had traces of being treated rough... thank God the damages done probably by the carrier were not noticeable.

    Good Product

Really well made, would buy again!!! I was skeptical to buy this product because of the reviews about assembly and bad instructions. Honestly this took total 3 hours. Very easy to assemble and instructions are good. Many people complain about the doors not lining up. There are multiple adjustments on the hinges to make them line up. Read the instructions. I can say Im satisfied with the quality of this product.

You Might Want to Start by Watching the Assembly Video

The end product is really nice. Putting it together was not. Lets start at the delivery. It is ONE big package that weighs 135 pounds or so. It doesnt come apart--like maybe two boxes banded together. Luckily I have a big, strong neighbor and a hand truck. My assistant for assembly was a professional contractor. He could have built this from a stack of wood. All of the wood parts were not labelled. Some parts were labelled on the raw edge with a marker. The screws and other hardware were not labelled in their little packages. Not a problem for us, but could well be an issue for others. It took us a good couple of hours. All the holes were drilled in the right place. Nice hinges--and thankfully, professional contractors know how to adjust them. No, we did not watch the video. With a less-experienced assistant, it would probably be a good idea. Yes, I would buy another one to put beside it if I needed it. And it would no doubt go together more quickly.

    Good for the price

Nice product. I bought three off of these, and it took about 6 hours to put them all together. It was not difficult, just time consuming. I was impressed that all of the holes lined up perfectly on all the pieces. The packages did not miss anything, all the parts were there. The finish is nice as well. There is one downside to this product, and that is the thinness of the boards. As you can see in the pictures, the boards are as thin as a finger, making the wardrobe feel flimsy. Having said that, I do like everything else about this wardrobe, and would have been happy to pay an extra $100 for the boards to be twice thicker.

The best furniture purchase I ever made

This is a really excellent product -- the best for the price I have ever made. Because we live in an older home, we needed two of them, one upstairs and another downstairs, one brown, the other black. They are a godsend. It takes a while to assemble, but the instructions are really good, and the end product is a solid piece of furniture, attractive, with solid drawer on good metal rollers. The ONLY thing that you need to fix is the height of the clothes rack -- its unnecessarily low and will allow some clothes to drag if you dont raise it. But thats a minor fix I hope they adjust at the factory. Otherwise, you will have to look very hard to find a piece of furniture that is its equal for the price.
