They worked fine when it came to being waterproof but they were a little uncomfortable. Tight in places that you dont want if you know what I mean and now theyre damaged. Wore about a dozen times or so while riding my utv.
Im 63, 250 lbs, with a size 12 shoe. I got the Size 12 and it was just slightly too small. Especially when you think that you will wear thicker layers of clothing under the waders, size up and save the hassle of returning and sizing up later.
They were warm and dry while fishing fall run salmon in Manistee River, Michigan.... The boot hanger is great for storing. Sort of heavy to carry, but not too heavy to wear.
Good quality, but poor fit. These appear to be designed for people who are taller than average and 30 pounds overweight. I am 59 tall and 165 lb. The inseam for the crotch was at least two inches too high, the shoulder straps had at least two inches of play above my shoulders on the shortest setting, and I probably could have worn three layers of winter clothing underneath the wader chest area. Quality appeared to be above average, with good seam stitching and good materials. I am disappointed with the fact that these were such good quality, but I cannot wear them due to the poor fit.
I took these on a fly fishing trip Montana and they did a fantastic job. I was never cold, didnt have a single leak, they fit very well. I had them on and off multiple times a day for a full 7 days and had zero issues with durability. I was actually pleasantly surprised because some in the group who had much more expensive name brands had some leaks pop up that they had to repair and one had major chafing on his leg from the boot. Not me, I was comfortable the entire trip and never had to patch a hole.
I cant speak for longer than a week long trip but honestly for the price, they served their purpose and I can keep going with them!
Ive only tried these waders out once but they seem to work fine. Is first I thought they were rather heavy and they are a bit hard to put on but once I was in the water the weight didnt mean anything. They are about twice the weight of the nylon waders but then again I feel because there a thicker material they might stand up better and remain leak proof longer. They did not leak the first time out but Im sure Ill be getting some kind of sealer in the future. Ive had to seal many a muck boot in the past and I dont dought these will fine a leak in no time. I liked these had a pocket an I can put some things in the front pouch but havent figured that out yet. There are a few places to hang things I also havent figured out yet. First tried out in a stream that went about 3 feet deep and I found I needed a good stick to keep from falling but that might have been because of the rough, uneven, rocky bottom.
All in all Im very pleased with my wanders without going to a lot of expense. Ive bought waterproof boots many times in the past and never found them to be really water proof, it least not the cheaper ones. Also nothing seems to stay waterproof for very long no matter how much money you put into it.
I like the product but the customer service is terrible!!!! I have holes in the suit now and have contact customer service sent proof of purchase and pictures through email as I was asked in order to receive a replacement pair and have yet to get a response back
