This would never work without extra padding. This is also shorter than expected. I got memory foam cut to size to put on top. I got this for an extra bed for surgery recovery. Itll do for a child or short person but for a tall adult male, this wouldnt work.
This sofa bed is so great and the color is vibrant. Assembling was not as easy but managed with help. The comfort not so good, I added a 3 topper for comfort. Other than that it is a bargain for the price.
This couch was exactly what I was looking for! I have a small space in my study that needed a couch, and this was the perfect fit - not too big that it occupies the whole room, but good enough to comfortably seat two. The couch was easy to put together; you just slide the back into the base, attach the arms, and tighten two screws to secure the back. It’s firm but comfortable, and good quality. For someone looking for a small couch in the 50-55 inch range, this is the one!
My new 4 in 1 ottoman, sofa bed arrived this week. Zero assembly needed! Just open the box and slide it out. The ottoman looks nice and is sturdy. Instructions to convert to the other configurations and carrying out the transition is very easy. As a bed it is well cushioned, but firm. If you like firm, perfect. If you prefer less firm, as other reviews have noted, a top cushion should do the job. Im sure this new addition to my living room will get much use. Only negative, I ordered Light Grey. Its much darker than expected, but still works with the room.

We replaced the fold out couch bed with 2 of these. Much better fit and more comfortable.
