The legs dont angle like they do in the picture on , and the wood color is more like the wings of a moth. Strangely gold. It feels like I got a cheaper version than what is pictured, and for $140 that doesnt feel too great. However, it is functional.

I use this as an entry bench in my San Francisco apartment and I think its perfect. Its exactly what I would have expected. Its a sturdy wooden construction, and a stiff foam topper. The upholstery is soft but robust. Please note if you plan to use this on a wood floor you may want to purchase different feet, either felt or rubber. It does tend to slide around on my laminate floor.
This bench is really cute. Im super happy with the style and it doesnt look cheap at all. My only complaint is that one leg wasnt sitting flat on the floor even after readjusting it. It was a little wobbly. I fixed it with pads on the bottom and now Im totally happy with it!
