These bed do not feel one bit safe. My kids are sleeping together on the bottom bunk because the guard rail wiggles and the wood support on the top bunk looks like its going to snap when my 7 year old son goes up there. BTW he weight about 50lbs. The first day we had them the guard rail snapped while putting the mattress on top. The company did get back to us quickie and sent us a replacement but not just one piece. They sent us an entire box of pieces that we had to then get rid of. We saved some pieces because I dont trust these beds and feel like I may need more spares in the future. Once we put the new guard rail on it will jot stay tight. It shakes back and forth. They were also a nightmare to put together and the directions are horrible. Im very upset I wasted my money and now I feel like Im stuck with them.
The drawers are extremely flimsy and its hard to understand the assembly process, when you email a question to them they take 24 hours to reply...but overall it serves a great purpose for us and the beds are very sturdy
The wood is cheap....it splinters when driving the screws. One whole side was not countersink for hardware. The tiny piece of wood that is supposed to be safety for top bunk wiggles and d jiggles....will not tighten up. The drawers on the bottom just slide under the bed, there is no track for them....the super tiny piece of wood meant to keep the drawers from sliding under the bed is stripped out and wont stay so the drawers get pushed all willy nilly under the bed. There is no finger grip for the drawers so when they get pushed under it is very hard to pull them back out. All in all I really thought with the price on this bed that it would be made well. It is not. Had to pay $100 to get it put together, so Im out 550 dollars or so for a bed that will be in pieces in less than a year.
Well this was a doozy. The bed came in 2 separate boxes which is fine. One box was basically opened but that could have been from FedEx. All the parts were labeled I correctly so the I instructions did t really help, not to mention there was none in the box and I had to reach out for the instructions. Once put together the bed seems very sturdy and looks nice in the bedroom. Plan to have about 4-5 hours to assemble.
Well the bed came early so that was nice!! When attempting to put the bed together the instructions were not included. Trying to contact the company was impossible. So than we contacted where similar Instructions, that were PDF to my message. My spouse was able to follow and put the bed together. Overall our girls love the bed for the price.
If your child or teenager is 150 lbs I would opt for a sturdier unit as this unit broke while he attempted to get to top bunk. Maybe it was because he stepped on the cross beam instead of the ladder. Either way, revealed it was not very sturdy. Recommend for smaller children or early teens. I would add a bracket or brace in cross beam corner to secure better.
Its still early but the quality is good. Easy to assemble, need 2 people. It will make a great Christmas surprise for a couple of grandkids. Would recommend!

poor quality
The package took a month to arrive, there are parts of the bed broken, the box did not bring the screws and the boards to put the mattresses.

Not recommended for larger children.
