Ive only had this futon for a week, but so far I think its decent. It looks beautiful, just as pictured, and is easy to fold down into a bed or back into a sofa. It also fits my boyfriend comfortably, who is 63, and it was relatively easy to assemble. Certainly it looks more expensive than it is, which makes it so worth the price.
When I first put it together, it was extremely firm, which worried me. Sometimes when reviews state that a chair or sofa is uncomfortable or firm, its somewhat subjective and I havent always agreed with them. In this case, however, the futon is quite firm and Im not sure how comfortable it would be for guests to actually sleep on. I was hoping that in time it would wear in nicely to make it more comfortable, and thankfully that seems like it may be the case. After several uses, it seems to be getting more comfortable, whether from softening up or from me adjusting to either. Either way, Im pleased with this purchase and glad to have nabbed it when I did. It arrived quite quickly with all needed parts included and hopefully will be a long term addition to our living room. ALL GOOD!
While this is still a beautiful sofa, the color in person is more yellow than mustard (a lot less of a gold / orange hue than in online photos). And while its comfortable to sit on, I wouldnt recommend sleeping on this without a mattress pad. Had to do so for 1 night while waiting for a new mattress to arrive, not a great sleep and woke up in pain. BUT for a small apartment needing color because walls cant be painted, this is perfect! So far meets my expectations

The color. Nice! The quality. Great! The velvet. SLIPPERY! Overall this couch is beautiful and you should definitely get it, but dont be surprised when youre trying to relax/hate/watch The Bachelor and your body starts slipping onto the floor. Also HEADS UP if you live in an apartment building with no elevator, they will deliver this massive box to the bottom of your stairs on a random day with no warning and then youll have to take the couch apart and bring it up to your apartment piece by piece. The point is / get the couch!!
Its a beautiful couch! Ive gotten a lot of compliments. I dont think it would be comfortable for 2 sleeping adults, but for 1 its great. Also, it is liquid (wine) resistant which has already proven very lucky for me This product was exactly what I was hoping for

If youre thinking about getting this futon and are on the fence for any reason I highly suggest you go for it. This is probably the closest thing to a couch you can get with it still being a futon. It is very firm but still comfortable and looks aming. (I got the dark green). I would definitely recommend a second person to help assemble. The armrests come in a pouch under the futon which I use to store a mattress pad and clean sheets for when guests come over. Honestly have no complaints about this. Really Happy!!
This futon is ugly and feels like sitting on cardboard covered in velvet. And if you lay on the back cushion portion of the futon when its open, the whole thing flips backward. The only nice thing about this futon, IMO, is that the velvet is soft. If you like a vintage 50s look (I dont, shouldnt have bought it but it didnt look as old in the photos) and dont mind your couch/futon being super firm, and unstable, then go for it.

Color is a little more yellow than expected

Im in love. The cushions are wider than a typical futon. So you have space on this thing. And its comfortable. Its a win for me. Great find!!
