Excellent quality, very heavy duty cart.
So glad that I chose this one over the others that I was looking at.
Very well protected packaging.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
These carts/islands are a very nice design and perfect for what I needed except for a couple of issues. The knives flop around because the slits are too wide for any knife to stay put. Also the towel bars and knife racks are not interchangeable.
LVE IT exactly what i wanted.
Put it together by myself in about 4 hours (that was taking my time with breaks) mostly easy to put together but found the middle bar for drawers wasnt going to go in right. Had to drill hole on outside for screw to go thru. Also the swing out arm the hole marks for putting on on bottom were almost non existent and there were no top marks (same piece i had to drill for middle bar for drawers /think this piece was messed up)
Decided to leave off knife block as i wanted to put that end up against a wall with the folding part up for more counter space.
I have a VERY small house so this will come in handy when im cooking for extra space. Also now i can get a couple of stools and have a eating space
Not bad for 300 extra storage and more counter space (and 50 more for stools will be my kitchen table).
I love the fact its on wheels so easily moveable and the papertowel holder on end.
Perfect addition to my kitchen.
Have move since and use it in my dining area for storage and plants on top in front of window.
Still love it
This island is exactly what we needed. We just moved to a new home, and although the kitchen has lots of cabinets and pullout drawers, not one of them was the right size for my Kitchen Aid mixer, Breville food processor attachments, or large baking sheets. Like others have done, I chose not to install the towel rack or spice rack on the two ends because the island was just the size I needed without those, and I already had other places in the kitchen for those items. Besides the two side cabinets and central shelves, it even has two handy drawers. I love how I can roll this cart over to the end of our bar for some extended surface area, for buffet dinners or for setting out hors doeuvres for parties. The wheels lock to prevent accidental rolling, if you desire. The quality is high, the wood is attractive, and this piece was easy to assemble.
Im just amed at how nice this cart is, especially for what it cost. Theres nothing flimsy about it at all. Assembly took about 2 hours and I took my time at that. Having a second pair of hands would have made a few steps easier / and certainly faster / but one person can do this. The hardware it comes with is metal / again, nothing flimsy / but the handles do nothing for the carts appearance. Theyre sturdy and functional, but thats it. I substituted this
We own a lodge with studio apartments. This fit perfect with our kitchen giving guest extra space for cooking and dinning. I put it together in a few hours. The directions explain everything! Just take your time. The product is sturdy and will be a great addition to our lodge.
The only reason for a 4 is ready the directions it states not to put rubber place mats or hot items on surface. This will be hard to explain to the guest with out putting a sign on it.
