We have a counter/height kitchen dining table and on rare occasions like holidays, we need a couple of extra seats. When I saw these, I thought they may be worth a try.
The stools were very easy to assemble, just 4 screws. As another reviewer pointed out, it took longer to remove all of the packing materials than to assemble the stools. Once assembled, the stools offer a significant range of height adjustments. The seats are shockingly comfortable, which was not really one of my expectations. The seat offers a minimal amount of padding with a vinyl material thats easy to clean.
One item of note. Im a bigger guy, and these stools are designed to support up to 300 pounds, which is uncommon. When I sit down, I do notice a small amount of bounce from the hydraulic height adjustment, but I dont find that the stool sinks over a period of time as Ive experienced with other products.
Based on my experience so far, I would definitely order these again. They are far sturdier than others Ive found, capable of supporting more weight, and appear to be well/built. The black color is a perfect fit for our environment. The cost is lower than most other less/reliable products. They get 5 stars from me.
Very nice chairs, swivel base, raise high enough for a 63 265lb person to sit comfortably on. Its absolutely perfect for a child as well. The chair holds me nicely however, feels as if Im a bit too heavy for it. Its sturdy, however I feel the air strut being compressed by my weight much lower as I sit on the seat which gives the feeling of sinking a bit.
These stools came very well packed and all the pieces were in great shape. Each took about 2 minutes to assemble /after/ getting them unpacked. It probably took longer to free the parts from all the protective packaging than it did to assemble the stools. The fit and finish are good and theyre as comfortable as any other decent bar stool. Note: Ive never sat in a bar stool and thought Nice!.
The only possible negative is that each stool came with one extra bolt and it took a moment to confirm that the fifth bolt was extra. The stools came with a pair of thin cloth gloves that actually came in handy because I got a little grease from the hydraulic thing (for adjusting height) on a hand and it was making smear marks that were a pain to rub clean. No more smear marks after putting on the gloves.
These stools are a little bouncy when I plop my 195 lb self down or pop the height adjust lever and drop the seat down a few inches The bounces damp out quickly.
There are four simple parts: a base, gas cylinder, footrest, and seat. You place the gas cylinder in the base. Then you bolt the footrest section to the base of the seat. Finally, you place the upper portion on the stem of the gas cylinder, and youre done. There are only four bolts to deal with (footrest to seat). You get one extra bolt per seat in case you lose one. Assembly is that simple and stress/free.
Once assembled, it is as good as it looks. The base is stable, it goes up and down easily, the seat is comfortable, and its nice to rest your feet on the footrest.
They are simple, functional, and look good in any decor.
I had these together in 15 minutes. About 1/2 the dunnage is cardboard, the other half is plastic bags foam sheets. No damage to any of the flat black, painted surfaces.
All of the hardware (5 of the 4 screws you need, plus a hex wrench) is blister packed and tied to the box so you dont accidentally throw it away.
Swivel function is infinite and smooth. The gas strut is easy to adjust and has a nice squish to it. The stool is pretty comfy, the foot rest is nicely welded, and the disc base has enough give in the perimeter rubber ant/slip ring to deal with imperfect tile floors without rocking.
If you like the style, this is a good value and easy to assemble.
The stools arrived really well packed in a large box.
When I say really well packaged, I mean it! Nothing really could have happened here because everything was packed and protected to the best of our knowledge.
Even gloves were included to assemble the stools.
The screws and the corresponding socket were also packed individually.
The assembly is very easy and very well explained in the instructions.
Im a layman when it comes to this and got the two stools set up very easily in no time at all. The stools look really chic and classy and at the same time totally trendy and super comfortable with the upholstered seat.
You can adjust the stool (up and down) and thus adapt it to the right height.
They really have an excellent and very stable quality!
I give 5 stars / I would buy again in a heartbeat!

Two per box, four screws per stool, seems solid.
