Set up took a few hours but wasnt too difficult with two people. Hardware could have been labeled better but overall assembly went smoothly. My son loves it and we are definitely happy with it so far.
The bed took my husband about 4 hours to put together from unboxing, to putting the mattress on. Its very sturdy, solid wood. Great quality. Like another review mentioned we swapped the side the window was on, so that it wasnt flush against the wall.
The draw is a bit tight to open on the carpet and is open faced on the inside which is a bit odd, but we planned to use it for toys anyway. Hell be able to take them out and play with them inside his new play house. I didnt deduct any stars for that, since it doesnt affect how were using the bed.
My son woke up on his birthday ecstatic to see his new bed! Its already become a new favorite playhouse too. All the kids approved! When they are happy, we are happy!

This bed is exactly as pictured and described in the reviews. Online shopping, I check reviews, other sites for different info and pictures, dimensions so I dont get wished, so I did all my research and this is the bed I chose and we all couldnt be happier. My toddler loves everything about it. My wife loves it since its short enough that the toddler isnt up so high. Three nights in and my baby girl wanted me to lay down with her, its got solid wood pieces for cross skating and a square tube metal bar that runs lengthwise under the center of the bed, so I felt extremely comfortable that it would hold me and the bed didnt even creak. It didnt shift or wobble, it didnt sag, I layed there with my daughter for 45 minutes until she fell asleep and then I slunk out.
Another that makes it so strong is the million fastening bolts and screws it comes with. If youre a complainer, move on, because this isnt the bed for you. I love puzzles and I love putting box furniture together, so this was right up my alleyit was difficult, but I enjoyed it. My suggestion is have a ruler or tape measure with moms on it and make sure youre using the right bolt for every part. The wood pieces are all labeled, but the hardware isnt. There really arent that many different pieces, but it would be nice if they came labeled somehow.
Last piece of infothis box is HEAVY! And since its long and thin, its awkward. My UPS driver is a 130 pound woman and she got it halfway up my driveway without a dolly somehow before knocking on the door for help. I didnt see her otherwise I never wouldve let her get that far and I really have no clue how she did it. Im a strong man and it was very heavy and difficult for me. I got it inside my front door and it sat right there for 36 hours until I put it together, and when I was ready for it, I opened the box and carried it into the assembly room piece by piece.

We are very happy with this bed !! I was worried because of some of some of the reviews, but ours came beautifully with no complaints. The shipping was very fast too. Also we love the little hideout on the bottom and bought string lights underneath to make it kind of magical. Im actually jealous of my sons room now lol. Just be prepared the box is a good 150-160 lbs and it will take about 3 hours to put together. All in all extremely happy.
We had the package arrive open, but I called the seller and they quickly helped me replaced the parts that fell out in transport. Its strong and sturdy. Overall we are very pleased.
It took 3.5 hours to put together, the most tedious part is the brackets that require screws and bolts. Easy to figure out and put together. My 4 year old is literally OBSESSED with this bed. He has autism and loves spaces to hide and get away. We chose not to add the drawer in as we wanted to put his nugget couch under there and it wouldnt have fit with the drawer. Looks just fine and is stable without it, our nugget fit literally perfect under it, made for the best comfy hangout cave! I added led strip lights under there as well because its quite dark. Looks awesome will definitely be buying another when my little girl is ready for a big bed! I purchased the lucid 6 gel mattress for this as well and it fits perfectly, it left a good amount of railing space so no accidents rolling out of bed! My only complaint is the ladder is very upright and doesnt actually touch the floor it just kind of hovers there.

Having 2 people to assemble would be helpful but I was able to assemble by myself just took longer. Solid wood was a nice surprise and very sturdy.
