Easy to put together The bed overall was a very cute and good choice. Daughter is in love with it. Major downfalls though as the parent is that 1. I thought it would be more sanded and painted. So definitely sand before assembly or youll have slivers. 2. The bolts are not separated and numbered or individualize so its hard to know if youre using right hardware . 3. The assembly is rough. Takes like 4 dedicated hours to put together especially by yourself. 5. If you have to move itll have to be taken apart and I am pretty sure it wont go back together again especially since most of it is screws. I dont think itll be near as sturdy.
Once its complete the overall satisfaction makes the battle well worth it. I wish I had one in a king size for me!

I bought this bed for my daughter (9yrs) and she loves it. It did take my husband a few hours to put together, but he says this bed is very sturdy and will last her a very long time. The little fort under the bed is perfect for setting up some fairy lights and making a cozy little hideaway for reading or playing. There was only one cosmetic blemish but its not noticeable unless you know where to look. The drawer is pretty big and is free moving, the front of the drawer stops it from going completely under the bed. The little shelf that sits on the bed rail is perfect for a TV remote or bottle of water.
Bought for my 10 year old daughter with limited space in her bedroom. This unit provides a bed that is elevated, but not high like a bunk bed. It also provides a book shelf, drawer, and fantastic cubby underneath the bed. Good quality, great use of space, and my daughter loves it. She especially loves the little cubby underneath. Gave 4 stars because the parts for the drawer arrived broken. But after calling the company, they promptly sent out the replacement parts. Great customer service!

The drawer at the bottom roles on the floor. Not a great thing in carpet. Its also not attached to anything so it will likely roll away when my little one notices they can remove it.
The drawer is open on the inside of the underside of the bed. i.e. the kiddos can simply look in there and mess with whatever is in there from under the bed.
The UPS driver must have been on drugs or something. He tossed it in the driveway carelessly and from the external look of it I thought for sure that it must have been damaged. It was not. This does not affect my review of the product. Just an observation.
This is heavy. When it comes you will need help getting it in the house. I recommend a dolly if you have one. Also a nice set of Allen wrenches is helpful as is a battery powered drill (Phillips bit); your install will go better with them. I have to note the Allen wrenches that came with the product. They were well thought out bending on each end similar to the letter z; you can turn them like a wrench.
Ill be honest - the assembly is a hassle, which is why I gave this 4 rather than 5 stars, but the payoff is a sturdy bed frame that offers a place for my kiddo to play! So far, he loves it, which makes for happy parents. We liked that this is made with solid pine versus the usual cheap particle board and MDF materials. The fact that it can hold up to 400 lbs. is impressive. Overall, were pleased.
I had already ordered the bed before the bad reviews appeared for this product. So I was very nervous and skeptical about the bed. But after a week of use, I can certainly vouch for the quality and sturdiness of this bed.
Two of us did the assembling and it took about 3-4 hrs. The bed is made of solid wood and very versatile - you can easily switch the window and stairs side if needed. You can even put the window and stairs on the same side like I did with a bit of thinking on how to switch the drawer and shelf. The rails and also very high compared to other beds. One reason I opted for this bed was that it has a capacity of 400 lbs compared to other beds which are generally 200 lbs. The same bed is available on Wayfair from different brand for higher price.

Put it together easily. The instructions are easy enough and precise. Pieces/screws are alphabetically labeled. Sturdy. I climb up and bother my kid sometimes. Were about 240 combined. No squeaking or creaking.
