I had bought a cabinet years ago and it is very sturdy. This one is not. Every thing is very flimsy with this cabinet. I was going to put the older one in the bedroom for storage and put this one in the kitchen but I dont think it would hold the heavy items I have in the older one. But it does serve the purpose for storage. But I am afraid to move it. The older one has gone through 6 moves and is as sturdy the day we bought it. Like!
Definitely great cabinet. I was able to put it together myself although it took a couple of hours and a lot of patience. Got the doors to align beautifully. Just had to be sure I didnt tighten everything until I had them aligned. Used wood glue for all the screws. And added additional brackets to the wall for support. It works.
These are super nice. Love the detail on the doors. The handles are really nice too. We bought two and they arrived with no issues. They look great in our room. Perfect.
This unit wasnt too difficult to put together, although, it still took me 2.5 hours doing it myself. I didnt have a problem with the doors aligning when it was empty, but once I filled it, now the doors dont align so thats frustrating. Also, the product itself it cheap. It looks nice, but anyone who opens the doors will be able to tell its not made to last. Works for my purposes as extra storage in my kitchen though. Cute.
pros: its the right size for the space, it isnt too heavy, its pretty, the cinnamon cherry finish is a warm espresso tone, metal handles, adjustable hinges, good for holding the lightweight items I need it for, and very clear instructions.
cons:
1. The door magnets are strong enough to bend the doors. (I resolved this by putting black tape over the strike plates; the magnets still work, but their pull is much less.)
2. The spring hinges are a PITA to install and scraped up the finish on the inside. (Resolved with a marker.)
3. Arrived with cracked and dented finish and corners on the interior non/adjustable shelf, despite the container being undamaged and this shelf being packed in the center of the box. Way to fail at QC, . (Resolved with marker; its out of sight, so I dont really care.)
4. The downside to lightweight and engineered wood is its flimsiness and relatively low load/bearing capacity. I wouldnt store books anywhere but on the bottom panel, for example. Instead, think craft storage, toys, linen closet, etc.
Other notes:
I am good at flatpack and I wasnt in a hurry, so I put this together myself over the course of several days. I recommend an electric screwdriver // there are a lot of screws. Also, if you nail down the corners of the back first, you cannot see the center divider to know if youre nailing the back into it correctly. So, dont do that. Instead, put a nail or two into the first, while you can still check that its centered, before doing the corners. Then attach the rest.
Getting the doors on was the hardest part and was where a second person would have been helpful, assuming they can hold the door perfectly still and the spring hinges dont pop out and scrape up the nearest surface. The spring part aside, the hinges are pretty great. After the doors are on, you just use the adjustment screws per the instructions to straighten the doors so everything is flush and square. Very cool. He loves it.

Thought it would be sturdier.
Used for emergency household supplies such as food, first aid, etc. Beautiful and Sturdy.

Looks very nice, not cheap. Beautiful color.
I disliked a few chipped pieces of the door. It is being used as a pantry. Suits my needs. Easy set up.
Nice Storage but Cheap Product
