I assembled alone. Easy enough although it is a 2 person job. Definitely needed help with the assembly. The bed does squeak a bit, I have gone back and checked all screws still a bit squeaky. Maybe some rubber washers a each screw wouldve helped? My son loves it!!
This is the best bed we have purchased! Its a beautiful color copper, it was super easy to put together, my son and I assembled this together. its very sturdy and took less than 2 hours to put together. my kids are very happy with their new beds! The directions were simple to read and follow. Very well made.
So I bought this for my sons room, after reading all the reviews I was scared I was going to get a hunk of junk. To my surprise its not a bad bed for the price. It was super easy to put together. The only thing I didnt like was the slats that hold the mattress, they didnt seem very strong so we did put a sheet of plywood on top of them. Also I did read some reviews about the frame breaking after several months, so we will see. But I have to lay with my son until he falls asleep and I havent had any issues. I also slept on the trundle for about a week and had no issues. Alot of reviews said the wheels bent after one night of use. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because the slats dont seem very strong. Im a single mom and on a budget, over all Im happy with the bed for the price I paid. It also came pretty quickly. Overall good.
Great quality for the price. You can not deny the design and quality for the price. I placed this in my quest bedroom and have had several visitors and its still holding up. This item is good! Satisfied.

I dont know how it would work for someone that weighs a lot more but I can only imagine it would bend fairly easy. Its not super sturdy so I dont wanna try it with a lot of weight. She has used it with her friends and no issues yet!!! It has a ton of pieces but it wasnt hard to out together. Well made and packaged.
This is a great looking bed and luckily I am handy with tools. Break out your own allen wrenches because the tiny allen wrench supplied is a waste of time. I was able to figure out how to put this together / had some help from a You Tube video. There were absolutely no instructions anywhere in the box. Even Ikea gives you pictures. If you dont like putting puzzles together, dont get this daybed. There are a million pieces. Its for my grandkids, it wont get a huge amount of use so hopefully it will hold up. I am not happy.
Overall this is a good product. Some quality issues. Examples, weld spots have open areas mixed with high spots, and firming up the screws tends to squash and flatten the . One last point, the silver bolts are exposed on the white frame and so do not blend into the paint scheme. We added a wood sheet to overcome the tendency to bend the support parts as described by other reviews, but this was expected. Great!
The bed frame is aesthetically pleasing and sturdy but it took WEEKS to deliver it and then the holes on the headboard and footboard did not line up with the rest of the frame! It took 3 of us to pull and push to get them attached. Easy to install and strong.

Works well for teen girls but I dont think its sturdy enough for grown folks!!!
