After using a card board box for a bedside table for far too long after a move, I finally listened to my wife and decided to buy a real one (I know, Im married and still use boxes as furniture after a move. My poor wife). For under fifteen bucks, this is a pretty darn good one. Perfect size for a small lamp, a book, and my phone on the table tap and some extra magazines on the lower shelf (or whatever you want if youre not that into reading).
MY ONLY QUALM about this things is its assembly. Though fairly strait forwards and theoretically simple, mine included wooden pegs that didnt quite fit the holes they were meant for. The results were the pegs actually began to crack the wood as I began to assemble it. To remedy it, you could sand down the pegs a bit, or drill some larger holes (its particle board, so I dont fully recommend that), but for something this small, I found the pegs unnecessary and opted to not use them. The table holds together perfectly well without them. The drawer itself is fine, can use it for your socks or what-have-you or opt to not use it at all in exchange for an extra shelf.
All in all, its a lot better than my card board box.
Price was right for a guest room, however you get what you paid for- broke with the first guest. Four stars because it was easy to put together (by an 11yr old) and looked good, but didnt last very long.
Just like everyone else here has said; you get what you pay for. The cloth drawer is kinda annoying so i just took it out. Its a bit short but easy to put together and cheap! I ordered another one to match the other!
