I have this in my living room in case family and friends want to visit. Its also the perfect size for snuggling while watching movies, or passing out on while studying. I will never go back to having a couch in the living room, this is so much more cozy and comfortable. Everyone who comes to visit absolutely loves it! The trundle is a plus and definitely comes in handy if a pack of friends stay the night.
I bought this bed for the grand kids. It will serve the purpose Dont think this is good for a heavy adult but I like the style. It is pretty. Follow the instructions and it is easy to put together
Arrived within stated time frame. The package is over 50 lbs. Contents were well packed, undamaged, all there. Assembly took me a little over an hour. Resulting metal bed is very study, looks exactly as pictured. My queen box springs and mattress fit perfectly. Very satisfied with my purchase.
The integrity of this bed is solid. It took a while to assemble, but its worth it for the high quality and sturdiness. I was sorely disappointed to see the finish isnt white, but cream. It doesnt match any of the decor in my daughters room and clashes with all of her white furniture. Ill likely have to take it apart and spray paint it eventually to match.
I am writing a review even though this particular item is a different style from the one I purchased (which is no longer available), because I really love the Daybed and Trundle. I didnt want to place another bed and extra mattress in the guest room along with the existing Queen bed for when the grandkids stay, and I had reached the end of my patience with leaking air mattresses. This set-up works out beautifully. The bed was securely packaged and no pieces were missing. In fact, I received an extra bed slat and a couple extra snaps. It was very simple to put together, and the instructions were very clear (there is one error mis-identifying a piece, but it was easily figured out). The instructions advise a two-person assembly team, and estimates 1-1/2 hours to put the bed and trundle together. I assembled the entire set-up on my own in l hr 45 min. The most difficult part was lugging the heavy box up three flights of stairs by myself. (If it matters, I am a 54 woman.) I vaccilated between this particular style and the one I purchased, but both are very similar, so I assume this Manila version will be as easy to assemble and as sturdy as the Crisscross design I purchased. If asked, I would definitely recommend considering a product.
The bed is beautiful and very sturdy. My only issue is that when assembling, one set of holes on the headboard dont quite match up with the siderail of the frame. This was corrected with a drill and rubber mallet. Suprisingly, the bedframe does not appear to be dented up. It went together very quick and with only that one issue.

Great kids bed
My son loves this bed. Very heavy in the box. Youll likely need multiple people to move it. Not too hard to put together but a bit time consuming.
